{October's Party}

October gave a party... the leaves by hundreds came - The Chestnuts, Oaks, and Maples, & leaves of every name.
The Sunshine spread a carpet, & everything was grand! Miss Weather led the dancing, Professor Wind the band.

October is here already & it will be Christmas before we know it! so i want to take a moment & savor all the reasons i love fall...
{apples, oh how we love to go apple picking, cooler weather, crisp air, lazy weekend mornings, breezy afternoons, shorter evenings,
to be warmed by the sun, chick'n dumplings, school's in full swing, halloween, soccer has started, train day, pumpkin bread with chocolate chips,
my mother's birthday... because without her,there'd be no me, brilliant colors of autumn leaves, raking leaves, only to immediately jump
in them of course & pumpkins, oh who doesn't love pumpkins!}

Shoot'n Tell {Solar}

here's my oldest bean in all his glory arriving home after his first day of school! i actually forgot to take pictures that morning before he left,
i almost cried when i realized it :( but my hubby reassured me that i could catch him coming off the bus, which might make for a nice change.
and yes that did make me feel a bit better but it's the fact that it never even crossed my mind to grab the camera, as school has become such a
steady part of our routine, my baby is just growing all too fast **sigh**

This image is also being used for
Shoot'n Tell Thursday hosted by Natalie!

I was lucky enough to catch my two before school, but I forgot to take the after shot. Sometimes the difference is amazing. You send them all neat and tidy with hair just so and seldom do they return that way.
