Sleepin' with the Fishes!

This is how Ethan started off his afternoon nap today... sleepin' with the fishes! Introducing my new painting (above fireplace)... purchased from Goodwill for $8.25 a couple of weeks ago... I love it!

NOTE: Ethan has been very sick this past week, but I am happy to report his fever has reduced and he is well on his way to recover:) Hence the floor nap today!

Bid You Goodnight!

So my poor poor Ethan has been quite ill the last 2 days... high fever, cough, runny nose, the whole nine yards! Even through all of this he managed to muster up the strength to run around Orion's room with him last night and joyfully play:) Bedtime was nearing and I told Eetz to tell O-rye "Nite Nite" give him hugs and kisses, and you know what he did! It was hilarious:) He will usually give the hug but no kisses. To make the "kiss noise" he was putting his tonuge to his teeth and pulling back making a slight click. For the next 5 minutes he ran from me to Orion giving us both kisses on our cheeks... an actual kiss all his own! I know, I know, he is sick, right? But O-rye and I could not resist... it was too sweet! What a way to bid us goodnight:)

This is not from last night but can't you just see the love there:) He loves to be where Orion is and do what Orion is doing!

Our Christmas at Nana's 2008

Twas the night before Christmas,
All was quiet at Nana's house...
Until the next morning,
when the children woke with a shout...
Because Saint Nick had been there,
and left presents everywhere...

We opened and opened,
'Til we passed out on the floor!

My Dad always has the video camera!

Sweet Baby Boy!

Big Brother help!

He has grown soooo much since then... AMAZING!

CHOO! CHOO! TRAIN!

His Love Runs Deep Too!!!

Christine,
It means so much that you declare your love for me to the world - literally! I don't have a blog but I can write here that you are the one woman in the world that I love and want. I am so proud to have YOU as my wife. You are so talented, creative, exciting, fun, UNIQUE, beautiful, thoughtful, sexy and caring. You are THE most important person in my life.
We both have had and will have ups and downs in life - or "tides" as you so eloquently put it. That's why we are here for each other. Lord knows you have helped me up and been so supportive of me through the years. I will always be supportive of what you want to do, and you can do anything that you set your mind to. Please know that everything I do is for US and our family and that you can always count on me. I love you more each year sweetheart. You are my home sweet home as well, no matter what challenges come our way we will be there for each other.
I am CRAZY in love with you!

What this man means to me...

Home. Stability. Love.

Home...

To me was the place you were born, the place where you grew-up, the place you left behind, for a new beginning, where childhood memories, friends, and family reside. But over the years I've realized that Home is in the heart. And he is my heart, my soul, my one true love. A place I can go when I'm feeling tired or down, happy or joyous, scared and lonely, silly or sassy, under appreciated and defeated, eager or proud. No matter what, I am never turned away from his door... only welcomed in with loving arms and I will love you forevers. He is my Home sweet Home.

Stability...

A Stable rock in the wading sea, that is me... unmoved, yet forever flowing with my tides. In and out as they are... he is always there. Fingers to fill the empty spaces between mine... a hand to hold... a shoulder to cry on... a soul to grow old with... forever mine... forever there. He holds me up when I haven't the strength.  My anchor, my pillar, my love, my childrens father, my husband, my Stable rock in the wading sea that is me.

Love...

Like our children, grows with each passing year. We nourish, feed, and protect our love. In moments of laughter and joy, moments of sorrow or pain, in moments of disagreement or closeness, in moments of silence where words aren't even needed... that is where Love lives, grows. In the everyday of life. In making morning coffee, in doing the dishes, or rubbing my feet after a long day. There... in those moments my Love is forever growing.

Home. Stability. Love.

What this man means to me.

Happy Anniversary Babes... 6 years & counting! You are mine and the kids world... we love you!

Beach Family Photo Shoot!

CLICK! CLICK!

Okay so it wasn't a professional photo shoot or anything... just me, my hubby, our boys and a good old fashioned tripod, plus a dash of patience;) We didn't get near as many as I wanted (namely ones of Ken & I together) but the ones we did get were phenomenal... to me anyway. We have not taken any family photos since Easter, due mostly to the fact that I refuse to go and have "professional" photos done. Too much money for something I can handle all my own... why argue in front of strangers... right? I know y'all know what I'm talking about... say CHEESE! Seriously though I do hope you enjoy. There was fun being had in front of and behind the lens. (Click on photos to enlarge)

(Saw above photo concept before/ Loved it sooo much, wanted to create with my own family and I love it!)

Jellyfish... can you see the yuck in Mommies face

Not from Beach Family Photo Shot but thought they deserved a place here:)

Love you!
