We spent Thanksgiving last year here in Richmond at Grandmother and Grandpa's (Ken's parents). It was a Thanksgiving of firsts... Ethan's very first Thanksgiving and both his top teeth made their debut appearance, Orion's first Thanksgiving to politely sit through the entire meal without being reminded 500 times to stay in his seat, first time we had a deep fried turkey, and sadly our first thanksgiving without Charles Kenneth's Grandymommy (she passed on Nov. 10th and will be missed dearly). She & Kenneth's Grandydaddy are now truly in a better place... together again.

The deep fried turkey turned out great (must say I prefer old fashioned baked turkey), moist. A great time was had by all!!!
