this is our kitty cat Loretta T Jones, the T stands alone {ya know kinda like Mr. T} & trust me she has enough attitude to match the name, she's affectionately called Miss Kitty. my husband received her as a birthday present from his roommates {at the time} many many moons ago. she has lived through growing up in a house full of young men, several moves; one of which was a 10+ hour drive in a crate! did you know that cats can meow for almost 10+ hours, well they can & she did, oh my poor husband! she survived the birth & toddler-hood of our oldest, who apparently was only a small test of her wills compared to our youngest, who just literally would LOVE her to pieces, if we let him.

like most cats she's quick to land on her feet, has her favorite lounging spots {the pure white rocking chair, my favorite quilt, her own bed, & several select places that are out of reach from small hands} she eats & eats & eats some more, meows when she's hungry, as for water don't even think she will be accepting it from a bowl, we try but for some reason the toilet, straight from a running faucet or shower, any glass of liquid left out, or fresh rain are way more appealing,  she has the most beautiful eyes & softest fur ever, comes to you when she wants a good petting & scratching {only about the head of course} she can be sweet as sugar one minute & bitter as black coffee the next, she's the greatest cat to have on Halloween & follows us trick or treating every year, has an obsession with my closet & scratching up plastic bags, we have no litter box {thank goodness} but getting her to go out in the rain is impossible, she hurdles baby gates at zillion times a day {maybe that's why she eats so much}, she definitely can be a pill when she wants but i couldn't image our family dynamics without her, we all do quite LOVE her to pieces!!!!

daily exercise regiment for all that eating...
Mad Dash
{sorry for the poor quality, but she was really on the move!}

she looks quite happy about it too.. that's her most serious "cat"titude face :)
meeeooooww

oh how we do ♥ love you & your "cat"titude Miss Kitty!

Aww, cute! I had a black cat with yellow eyes growing up that I loved. It makes me think of him.

Aww, I think black cats are so striking. I love the gorgeous eyes and cropping of the first shot, and the “ready to pounce” pose in the second. What a beautiful kitty.

P.S. Hope you feel better soon! Sounds like a nasty bug!

So cute; we always had cats growing up when I was a kid, but turns out my daughter is allergic, so no cats for us. Hope you feel better soon!

My favorite is the third picture of the cat (the eyes - wow!). And I know I said it last week, but I just have to say it again - I adore your header with the four pumpkins! So cute! :-)
