remember the feeling when we first met, of never wanting a kiss to end, talking 'til the sun came up, making love in the afternoon because we could, holding hands & secret side smiles, our first place together, endless laughter & adventure, eating my first attempt burnt dinners, our songs, music to fall in love to, the day we became parents together, ten fingers & ten toes, just perfect, feeling like we knew everything, only to realize we knew nothing, learning & growing together, creating an "us", our wedding day, your face as i walked down the aisle, the excitement of starting our life together in the pit of my stomach, packing up & heading into the unknown our first year of marriage, making it work, a place all our own again, watching you start your career, having things fall apart, only to come back 10 times stronger, challenges & compromise, compassion & concern, to fall in love all over again, house hunting, the day we signed the papers, a new key for the keyring, ripping up carpet & a fresh layer of paint, a neighborhood & a street to ride his bike, new life growing, telling you you're going to be a daddy again, pregnant bellies & baby kicks, the day our family grew into four, he started kindergarten, bus stops & homemade lunches, homework & spelling tests, baby grins & sleepless nights, adventures as a family of four, remember it all in the blink of an eye, each moment a simple thread that makes up the beautiful tapestry of our life & our love for one another. i love you.
