Pretty in Pink

Kylie Marie
(Photo shot after her shower)

On January 23rd, I had the pleasure of attending & photo journeling my good friend, Brandi's baby shower. We arrived to yummy treats laid out for the guests:) The biggest strawberries I've seen, especially for this time of year.

Some of the cute decorations, the diaper cake was fabulous! Everything was so pretty in pink, so girly, I personally was in heaven:)

Brandi received tons of cute, useful items... clothes, soft cozy blankets, a bassinet, bumbo seat, and so much more!

Her mother-in-law, Rose, passed down a beautiful white vintage baby dress. Which apparently she had bought when pregnant with her first son, Travis, she didn't know whether he was a boy or girl, until he was born. She kept it in hopes of a girl the second time around, again still not knowing whether she was having a boy or a girl, until his birth, boy #2, Nathan. So again she tucked the little white baby dress away for save keeping, in hopes of a grand daughter one day. Well wouldn't you know it both of her sons are now expecting daughters, not just one but two new precious grand daughters:) Sometimes great things come to those who wait! Rose also passed down a crocheted baby  cover, that both Travis & Nathan wore. Plus new vintage style knits, too sweet!

Brandi's mama, Debbie, not only planned and hosted her shower but also found time to create a scrapbook of wonderful baby Brandi memories. It was a unique and special gift.

I made Miss Kylie a Stacked Coins Baby quilt, personalized by putting her name up top.

Wrote her name, then cutout, heat-bonded fabric, traced on letters,
cutout of fabric, then bonded to quilt and hand embroidered around letters.

I just love all the fabrics! Brandi really loved it
and enjoyed all the thought that went into it.

Anxious Mama!

Can't wait to meet Miss Kylie Marie!

Good Luck & Congratulations Brandi & Nathan!
