From {MY} Heart

O&E
my two beans are straight from my ♥, their love tugs on my heartstrings daily making it sing with joy & delight. the sound of their
laughter & playing, a sometimes slobbery snotty kiss on the cheek, & sweet sleeping faces just melt my heart into a giant puddle,
 that they splish, splash & soak up my love in. i just love my two jumping beans to pieces!!

this week's theme at Paper♥Camera is {From My Heart}

{Shoot'n Tell} •Circular•

i never realized how circular the process of pottery was before sitting to edit my images for this challenge. this is my bestie, she completely
blew me away on friday with her pottery finesse. her motions were fluid & uninterrupted; firm yet light pressure to mold her art at will,
slight squeeze of water to smooth the surface {um, even her sponge was circular} tools to sculpt & trim; each a circular masterpiece done with
the gentle circular spin of the pottery wheel, oh the wheel, i could have fallen asleep to that soft hum.

more circles:

it made me happier than sunshine & rainbows to watch her art being created
right in front of my eyes & to also capture her gift to share with her.

Show'n Tell: Self Portrait

{Show'n} Everything I'm Not, Made Me Everything I Am
Everything I'm Not Made Me Everything I Am

{Tell'n}
here i am :) bit larger than life for me but a decent image none the less! like most who are obsessed with being behind the camera... i too hate
stepping out in front of it, but am quickly learning to have a new comfort & confidence level. for this shot i set up a backdrop of black fabric in our upstairs bath {which gets excellent natural light}, also used my studio light to put a spark of light in my eye, helps make your subject come to life with a bit of light.
lastly i cropped, then converted to b&w for a more subtle feel.
{ps! remotes really help when it comes to selfies & family images, love mine!!!}

good luck stepping out from behind
the camera ladies, you can do it!!!

Show'n Tell: Contemplate Your Shot

{Show'n}
158SHSWeek#2
{Tell'n}
i am a sucker for a subject with texture & DoF, so when i found this cute little nut {mr. nutty} in our backyard this weekend i immediately started thinking of where it could be shot from, wanted to be able to prop it up with an elongated foreground & our fence seemed like the perfect nook. so i propped mr. nutty up, set my camera into Pfunction, adjusted the focus & ISO settings, then clicked a couple off. ps~ the fence post made for a great place to hold the camera steady too:) this one was my favorite of the bunch!
